The Van Jones boycotters are out in full force to promote trumped up charges against conservative groups they are calling hate groups and un-American. Van Jones and his friends are the very same people who can’t say enough hateful things about the Palins, all conservative women, all Republicans and Conservatives. Many are admitted Socialists and Communists. There is nothing fair about what they want. Their goal is to silence conservative voices.
Coke just caved under 5 hours of pressure to pull their support for an organization (ALEC) that backs Voter ID Laws. Democratic groups threatened to boycott them.
Van Jones admitted he concocted the entire attack to destroy the group in question, ALEC, which he views as extreme, but since he is a communist, you might not want to take that too seriously.
He wants to tie the Trayvon Martin tragedy into ALEC even though there is absolutely no connection other than their support for the Stand Your Ground law in Florida. A lot of people supported that law but they’re not all Conservatives and Van Jones has an anti-Republican/Conservative agenda. Kraft also dropped ALEC under pressure from the Van Jones group. ALEC or the American Legislative Exchange Council describes their mission as -
A nonpartisan membership association for conservative state lawmakers who shared a common belief in limited government, free markets, federalism, and individual liberty. Their vision and initiative resulted in the creation of a voluntary membership association for people who believed that government closest to the people was fundamentally more effective, more just, and a better guarantor of freedom than the distant, bloated federal government in Washington, D.C.
I don’t know when federalism, free markets, individual liberty and so on became extreme – these are the principles our government was founded on – but I’m not a communist like Van Jones.
