ROUNDUP 2018 PART THREE by Frank Mason

The third day of the roundup we brought the cows out of the field close to the corrals at the Monte Kent cow camp and took them to the corrals to separate the cows from the calves and load the calves on semi trucks to be taken to their respective destinations.

Pushing the cows and calves to the corrals into the sun.

Spent a lot of time in my saddle pushing cows up into the alley way for sorting.  And sometimes just waiting so took a picture of the saddle and my grinning dog wanting to be petted.

Allen watching the cows fill up one of the pens.

The cows that have been separated from their calves.  It was a very dusty day as no rain or snow for awhile.

The horses tied up waiting for the sorting to get done.

That is the scale in the background and where we have lunch to the right.

Chuck the brand inspector and Connie having coffee.

The scale house with the master of the place - Yvonne.

We even fed some of the truckers.

Connie using a hot shot to get some of the calves up the loading chute.

Macy had a lot of dust on her face when she finished loading all the semis!!!!!

A couple of pictures taken by Rachel of me and my two different mounts: Bill and Joe.
