Website Updates By Judging Operations on July 24, 2019

In our ongoing efforts to provide information to aid our exhibitors and judges, we have recently added a new page titled Eligibility and Conflicts of Interest to the AKC website to provide answers to questions concerning matters that affect eligibility to exhibit and conflicts of interest.

This page may be accessed directly from the Conformation Judging Resource Center and covers the most frequently asked questions as well as scenarios commonly encountered at events and addressed by AKC’s event related departments.  All of the information covered on the page may be gleaned from the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and the Rules, Polices and Guidelines for Conformation Dog Show Judges; our hope is that by compiling into a more accessible and user-friendly resource it will aid our judges and exhibitors greatly in avoiding scenarios that create conflicts of interest and impact their eligibility to exhibit.

As always, every scenario that may create a conflict of interest cannot be defined.  If you have a question that is not clearly answered by the content provided on the new website page, please contact Judging Operations in advance of any events that may be impacted, or speak with the Executive Field Representative in attendance at the event.
