This is an easy off-trail hike.  There are likely nice views from the summit, but it was socked in when I was there, so I can’t say for sure.
From the summit of Huckleberry Pass, continue 0.5 to 0.6 miles down the east side.  Take the forest road that angles to the right (southeast) and follow it 0.7 miles to the turn-around that is bulldozed into the hill.  It would be prudent to take a chain saw for this 2nd road, as it is not very heavily traveled.  I parked in a wide spot in the road just before here.  I hiked further along the road for about 0.5 miles, before cutting straight up the ridge.  The hill is steep at first with lots of deadfall, but the going is easier than one would think it should be.  There are lots of game trails through the forest that eventually lead to a clearing, up to a false summit, then finally to the true summit.
